Less Plastic
We are innovative and responsible, so we implement changes that are extremely important to us. ŽALIA GIRIA water is bottled in another production line installed at the beginning of 2022, thanks to which several times less electricity is consumed to produce one product.
The 0.5-1.5 liter "ŽALIA GIRIA" bottles have also been updated and become lighter, even 15% less plastic is used than in the previous container. The bottle itself is unique not only in its shape, which has become even more convenient for our users, but also in the fact that even 30% of recycled plastic is used in its production. 30% recycled plastic is also used in the labels of 0.5-1.5 liter "ŽALIA GIRIA" bottles.
We also recycle all packaging waste generated during the production process. For buyers who value sustainability, we offer reusable 19 L water containers.
The ideas of sustainable consumption are increasingly emphasized in our company - we are happy with the solar power plant, which, like the modern extraction and bottling facilities and innovative technologies installed in the company, helps to reduce the amount of electricity used and reduce the amount of CO2 emitted into the environment.

We Protect Lithuania’s Ancient Woods
An old-growth forest is an exceptional forest. Only a forests or woods free of human activity for at least 300 years can be called an Ancient Woods.
Since the beginning of our cooperation in 2021, we have donated more than €140K to the Ancient Woods Foundation, which contributes significantly to protecting over 118 ha of ancient forests and all the life in them. 18 plots of land in different parts of Lithuania — 3 of which have been bought entirely with funds from “ŽALIA GIRIA” — are home to thousands of species of animals, plants, and fungi.

During the campaign held in the fall of 2023, each of You had a unique opportunity to be immortalized on a specially created virtual Oak. We present you a virtual map of all participants.
We allocated funds for the purchase of a 4.92 ha forest in the Alytus district by VšĮ "Sengirės fondas".
